November 27, 2017 - Hannah Rachel Smith - Cloud Business Development Rep

At the brink of 2018, I can pretty safely say that the majority of organizations know that they need to maintain their electronic communications and information, and they understand why. And if you don’t understand why, it doesn’t really matter because it’s a regulatory priority and you can’t really get away much longer without adhering. With that being said, let’s try to really understand what happens to our emails and why using an email archiving solution is important

The Rest of the Biz Needs Insight into IT

September 21, 2017 - Walker Hansen - Cloud Business Development Rep

If you aren’t in IT, you generally don’t understand the associated costs. Conversations tend to go like this:

Non-IT: “Why do we spend X number of dollars on this?”  “What is this bill for Y?”  “What does it do for us?”

IT: “Well – [insert technical jargon that nobody outside of IT understands]”

Non-IT: “So…. We still need this then?”

IT: …. (stunned silence that they didn’t understand) …. “yes.”

As your company begins to use this open method of communication, it is essential to take additional protection measures. Applicable measures include putting policies in place to meet compliance standards set by federal and local governments as well as any entity that is part of your specific trade or industry.

Key to Success w/ O365? End user Training

Any time a new system, program, or innovative process is implemented at an organization, such as Office 365, representatives of that organization undergo a great deal of change in their day-to-day life. Considering most nеw or updated аrrаngеmеntѕ inсоrроrаtе еnhаnсеd buѕinеѕѕ fоrmѕ, nеw buttons, dеviсеѕ, and so оn, wоrkеrѕ рrеѕumаblу wоuldn't learn thе entire ѕуѕtеm аlоnе (аnd would likеlу be at various degress of adaptation), which imрliеѕ thе organization may not see the entirety of the efficincies guaranteed by the IT supplier in the immediate future. The solution to these instances is training. Trаgiсаllу, business administrators often hear "end-uѕеr trаining" whilе actualizing nеw innоvаtiоn оr рrоgrаmming, and think, "additiоnаl cost"—thus, they decide to refuse that step of the implementation process. In such an aggressive market, businesses must realize the value of end-user training and gain the high ground over their competitors.

Social Media Archiving for Your Organization

Social media is a platform unlike any other. Word of mouth spreads on social media like wildfire and businesses allocate great importance to such a platform because of this. Why they choose to do so is simply a matter of maintaining their public image. What can be a better way of communicating with the public than using the same channel as the public? Social media allows companies to engage in two-way communication with their consumers, whether it being direct or indirect. Direct interaction can occur through comments or messages from users to the entities themselves, while indirect communication can be measured by the time frame of their consumers’ visits, the frequency of visiting the entities’ pages and what not. Businesses tend to be highly interactive with their audiences on social platforms. Active communication does not only refer to answering queries, but also to frequent tweeting, updating and posting new information to engage said audiences.
